Game Schedules – Week #1 Now Available

Almost there…

Many communities just completed their tryouts these past couple of weeks and are a little late to register to play.  We want to provide a vibrant and meaningful league, so we thank you for your patience while we get each league established.  We are also trying to meet as many scheduling requests as possible, so games for Weeks #2 – #6 will be published as soon as those conflicts are resolved.

Website

We are also changing direction for the use of the website.  We were trying something new this year to allow coaches more control over managing their teams and statistics, but have determined that the SportsPress application is too difficult for the average user to navigate. We have already begun scheduling in the QuickScores application, which will be embedded on the mwtbl.com site.  Game schedules, standings and tournament brackets will all be available.

Rosters

Coaches no longer need to log into the system to upload your roster.  If do not see your roster on your team’s webpage, please download and fill out the players-sample spreadsheet.  The data MUST be in this format with the column headings remaining as they are to match how your teams have been entered on the website.  Your roster must be complete with names and jersey numbers before the first game, otherwise a forfeit will be assessed.  The roster file can then be emailed back to kceitspecialist@gmail.com

Gear Up for the 2022-2023 Travel Basketball Season at Kenston!

The Midwest Travel Basketball League is back and better than ever! All hardwood floors have been redone, scoreboard lights have been replaced, and officials are ready to go.

MWTBL is celebrating its 15th season, providing leagues for boys and girls community travel basketball teams from the 3rd to the 6th grade. We NEVER charge admission and encourage the whole family to come cheer on their teams. We guarantee a 10-game minimum season which includes a double elimination tournament the last 2 weeks in January. Our schedules are released by October 31st for the season. All games are played on the Kenston Campus located in Bainbridge township. We boast 4-single court gyms all with hardwood floors & bleacher seating to create a competitive and sportsmanship-driven atmosphere for our young athletes.

Each game is conducted as if it were a varsity event, an emphasis on sportsmanship and good officiating. There are 2 trained table officials, 2 adult officials on the floor and a site coordinator to make sure everything runs smoothly so that the focus stays on the children.

The Midwest Travel Basketball League will open pre-registration for community teams by August 1, 2022.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact the league director Jennifer Moore at (440) 591-9011 or jenniferingram15@gmail.com.
